Virtual Race of Remembrance
How it started
In 2020 at the height of the pandemic, Remembrance Services, as well as Race of Remembrance at Anglesey, were either cancelled or attended by a select few. Born out of the desire to hold a safe Remembrance Service and Race of Remembrance the first online Race of Remembrance online was hosted in 2020.
Having swapped pedals for controllers 50 teams raced around a virtual Silverstone for a 6-hour endurance race pausing only to join the “Drive-in” Service at Thruxton with an audience of over 300,000 from across the globe.
RoR- online racing returns
The Virtual Race of Remembrance (VRoR) returns for another powerful and exciting edition on the 4th–5th October 2025, hosted on Assetto Corsa Competizione (PC). This 24-hour endurance race at the iconic Paul Ricard circuit brings together GT3 and GT4 cars in a multiclass format, all in support of Mission Motorsport and their work with veterans and service personnel.
Whether you're a seasoned sim racer or new to the scene, this event is open to teams and individuals alike. If you're not part of a team, don't worry—our Team Finder channel in the official Discord will help you connect with others.

Qualifying
All team members may attempt to set lap times. The fastest overall lap will determine grid position. Any team attempting to manipulate grid placement (e.g., “Last to First” challenges) will be penalised.
