Race of Remembrance Launch Day

Set against a backdrop of on-track activity, the Mission Motorsport, The Forces’ Motorsport Charity’s Race of Remembrance Launch Day, hosted at the iconic Thruxton Circuit, is a powerful and purposeful gathering of race teams, veterans, serving personnel, and supporters. It marks the beginning of the Race of Remembrance journey and is a celebration of community, courage, and commitment.

RoR Launch’ is a multi-activity day featuring:

  • New team unveilings, including a team of new Mission Motorsport beneficiary drivers, the JLR Armed Forces Community and more

  • Beneficiaries participating in car control sessions, skidpan and 4x4 driving, track passenger rides and early practice for the Karting Race of Remembrance

  • The opportunity to Showcase your team and connect with supporters, and the Armed Forces community.

  • The chance to meet fellow race teams and build camaraderie ahead of the main event at Anglesey.

  • Witness Armed Forces Covenant Signings

  • Driver development and team testing

Exclusive Track Day Access for 2025 Entrants

Building on the success of last year’s Launch Day, your 2025 Race of Remembrance entry now includes this exclusive track day at Thruxton Circuit. The day is split in to two halves:

Morning Session
Reserved for car and driver development, your team will have access to:

  • High-speed circuit laps

  • Skidpan training

  • Autotest precision driving

Afternoon Session
You’ll give up your passenger seat to offer exhilarating rides to beneficiaries. This is a powerful and meaningful way to share the spirit of Race of Remembrance and connect through the thrill of motorsport.

The Launch Day builds on the success of last year’s event and sets the tone for the Race of Remembrance weekend at Anglesey. It’s a celebration of community, courage, and commitment.
